Paul encouraged the Christians at Philippi to make his joy complete by "being like minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose" (Philippians 2:2). Our principal aim and purpose at the parish of the Ascension is to serve one another in love  through these activities and ministry opportunities and build up a strong healthy local church touching our community with the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
